10 years in Hervey Bay, decades in the region

From our origins in Maryborough in 1905 to our present-day location in Hervey Bay, we’ve grown into an innovative, not-for-profit hospital that still puts the community we serve at the core of everything we do. This year St Stephen’s Hospital celebrates its 10-year anniversary as Australia’s first digital hospital, while remembering our decades in the region. We invite you to celebrate this important milestone with us.

Celebrating 10 years of care with a Community Family Day

Join us for a day of fun, family and celebration as we mark our 10-year anniversary on Sunday 20 October 2024. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Address: 25 Sussex St, Maryborough Qld

Staff will be recognised with a commemorative gift as we thank the people who make St Stephen’s not only an exceptional place to be cared for, but also a great place to work.

Tuesday 15 October: Yanman Guwa (walking path)

We unveil our new Yanman Guwa (walking path), which winds around the hospital grounds, featuring beautiful reflection points along the way. Come and experience it for yourself on our Community Family Day.
