Dr Karthick Gunananthan completed his medical training in Sri Lanka, earning both MBBS, MD in Medicine.

Dr Gunananthan has been working in Hervey bay for the past five years and was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2025.
