Dr Krishan Madhan is a Consultant Nephrologist with extensive experience of kidney diseases and general internal medicine. He has been living and practising in Fraser Coast for close to fifteen years. He is passionate about creating specialist capacity in regional Queensland and over the years he has enabled most patients to obtain Renal care locally resulting in reduced need for travel to Brisbane or elsewhere.
Prior to moving to Queensland, he established regional renal services in New Zealand. Having trained in India at the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2000. He has a strategic interest in improving patient care and works with Statewide and National organisations to advance kidney care health delivery.
