St Stephen's Hospital is committed to patient safety and the ongoing improvement of patient care and has a comprehensive quality and safety program that covers many aspects of the patient experience.
To help patients make an informed decision about their care we are committed to sharing information about our quality and safety outcomes. We have chosen to publish a range of measures which provide you with information about our performance in providing safe, quality healthcare. These measures were selected because they form part of a set of key clinical indicators outlined in the National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards developed by the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Healthcare.
St Stephen's is certified by SAI Global to the standard – ISO AS/NZS 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems and is fully accredited against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. This certification is in place until September 2018.
