Since obtaining the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, Navi initially worked as a trauma consultant and undertook sub-specialised fellowship training at several units with experts in their field, learning the latest and most reliable techniques to help his patients. As well as honing his techniques in robotic hip and knee replacements, sports injuries, and complex trauma, he is able to provide keyhole and minimal invasive foot and ankle surgery to quicken recovery and improve outcomes. He can also perform ankle replacements and was one of the first surgeons in the UK to use the new revision ankle system.

After working at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the public hospitals in Hervey Bay and Maryborough, he is now the founder of The Bay Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic with operating lists in Hervey Bay at St Stephens Hospital, Hervey Bay Surgical Hospital and the Friendlies Hospital in Bundaberg.

Outside of work, Navi loves time with his wife and kids, and emotionally needy Labradors, going away to the many amazing locations the region has to offer. Having been through fracture and ligament reconstructive surgery himself, he knows what it's like to be on the other side and this has given him a better appreciation for what he needs to provide as a surgeon. He has lived in Australia for several years and feels very lucky to have settled in the beautiful Wide Bay region.
